The classic tale of a poor young girl with a heart full of joy and love; whom her vicious stepmother and two stepsisters mistreat, but finally finds her Prince and lives happily ever after. In this dance drama, the story outline of the famous English Fairytale was maintained but instead of Cinderella losing her glass slippers, she loses her Salangai. Mainly young talents such as children and teenagers comprised the cast. The Tanjai Kamalaa Indira Dance School garnered honour to be the very first dance drama staged in Malaysia with a Fairytale performed in an Indian classical dance form. All proceeds were channelled to the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia.
